As a family physician he is committed to staying on top of medical developments to educate his patients on the best ways to improve their health. Specializing in adult and pediatric care, diabetes, cholesterol, and hypertension - Dr. Moon is known for his strong belief in preventative medicine, which he says is the first step in living a healthy life. He takes time to carefully listen to patient concerns and quickly diagnoses their problems to provide solutions for a healthy lifestyle. His friendly approach combined with his efforts to proactively educate others on ways to improve their health is truly appreciated by his patients.

Dr. Moon had been in solo practice at Moon Family Practice in Plano, Texas for nearly 10 years before joining with his partners to start Village Health Partners. This provided an opportunity to offer the highest quality care through better technology as well as better patient access to health resources. Dr. Moon is actively involved in the local healthcare community. He has served as Chief of Family Practice at Medical Center of Plano, as well as a delegate to the Texas Medical Association.

Dr. Moon received his B.F.A. at North Texas University, going on to earn his M.D. at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center of Dallas and completed a family practice residency at Forbes Regional Hospital in Pittsburgh. In 2001, Dr. Moon was honored as the hospital’s top resident with the Nurses’ Choice Award.

Dr. Moon resides in McKinney, Texas. He enjoys spending time with his three children and his hobbies include painting, playing guitar and cooking.
