As one of Plano’s leading family medicine doctors, Dr. Elaine Timm is passionate about providing the best care for her patients. She is committed to treating and helping patients prevent illnesses and better manage chronic health conditions such as asthma, allergies, diabetes and cardiac disease. Prior to joining Village Health Partners, Dr. Timm ran a successful family medicine practice in New York for more than 10 years. She enjoys speaking on topics related to improving efficiencies in the healthcare community and creating a stronger doctor-patient relationship.

Dr. Timm received her B.A. from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York and earned her M.D. at St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies. She completed a family practice residency at Southside Hospital, an affiliate of North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System in Bay Shore, New York. Dr. Timm is also a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Physicians.

Dr. Timm resides in Frisco, Texas with her husband and four children. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling and discovering fun activities for her children
